 STAATSKOERANT, 31 DESEMBER 2022  Proclamations Proklamasies  No. 47805 3  PROCLAMATION NOTICE 109 OF 2022 by the   President of the Republic of South Africa  COMMENCEMENT OF GENERAL LAWS (ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING AND   COMBATING TERRORISM FINANCING) AMENDMENT ACT, 2022   In terms of section 66 of General Laws (Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorism   Financing) Amendment Act, 2022 (Act No. 22 of2022), herein referred to as the Amendment   Act , I hereby determine-   (a) the date of publication of this Proclamation in the Gazette, as the date on which sections 9,10, 16,18 to 55, 59 and 62 to 65 of the Amendment Act, take effect; and   (b) 1 April 2023, as the date on which-   (i) sections 1, 3,4, 5, 8,11 to 15, 17, 56, 57, 58,60 and 61 of the Amendment Act, take effect;   (ii) section 2 of the Amendment Act takes effect, except subsection (1H) of section 6 of the Trust Property Control Act, 1988, as inserted by section 2 of the Amendment Act; and   (iii) section 6 of the Amendment Act takes effect, except section 11 A(1 )(c), (2) and (3) of the Trust Property Control Act, 1988, as inserted by section 6 of the Amendment Act.
