Long Title

This Constitution provides a standard minimum guidelines for the establishment and running of taxi associations, members and non-member taxi operators it is also intended to serve as a guideline for all taxi associations in the North West Province. Where a taxi association already operates under a constitution, such a constitution must cover those aspects and principles as contained in the standard minimum constitution to at least the same extend. Existing constitutions must therefore be ratified by the Registrar. In order to be ratified, they may be amended if necessary and after due consultation between the Registrar and the Executive Committee of the association concerned. Where a taxi association does not operate under a constitution, or operate under a constitution, or operate under the one considered inadequate, that particular association must either adopt the standard minimum constitution or amend its constitution to be in line with the standard minimum constitution as prescribed.
