           General Notices  GENERAL NOTICE 459 OF 2024                      LIMPOPO PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATION  DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, ENVIRONMENT AND TOURISM                     NOTICE OF EXTENSION                     LIMPOPO LIQUOR ACT, 2009 (ACT NO. 5 OF 2009)                     EXTENSION OF PERIOD FOR SUBMISSION OF AUTHORISATION, PERMIT, LICENCE OR  EXEMPTION TO THE LIQUOR BOARD FOR CONVERSION UNDER LIMPOPO LIQUOR ACT, 2009                   I, Tshitereke Baldwin Matibe, in my capacity as the Member of the Executive Council responsible for  the administration of the Limpopo Liquor Act, 2009 (Act No.5 of 2009), hereby in terms of section 71(2)  of the Limpopo Liquor Act, 2009 (Act No. 5 of 2009),        extend the date provided for in Provincial  Notice 440 of 2023 (Government Gazette No. 3432 dated 25 August 2023) to the 31 st  of  December 2024,        for all holders of an authorisation, permit, licence or exemption issued in terms of the  Liquor Act, 1989 (Act No. 27 of 1989) to submit such authorisation, permit, licence or exemption to the  Limpopo Liquor Board for conversion into a corresponding authorisation, permit, licence or exemption  under the Limpopo Liquor Act, 2009, failing which, the existing authorisation, permit, licence or  exemption will lapse.                 All existing liquor licences must be renewed for the 2024 period before being submitted for conversion.
