- Reports on a study undertaken on the prevalence, awareness, treatment and control on arterial hypertension in Dakar, Senegal, specifically among elderly people. Finds the only factor associated with awareness, treatment and control of hypertension was the frequency of doctor visits. Emphasizes the improvement of follow-up health checks of older adults to limit the consequences of hypertension.
