- Description
- Examines the importance of the body in the religious thought of Zulu-speakers and the way the traditionalist dress of women in the Nongoma region of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, in the late twentieth century can be used to mediate between the body and forces in the spiritual realm. Acknowledges that women experience vents and concerns that are unique to their gender, and seeks to understand better how dress functions within the realms of these conditions.
