 General Notices  DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATIONS AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES   NOTICE 955 OF 2022   PUBLICATION OF EXPLANATORY SUMMARY OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN POSTBANK   AMENDMENT BILL   1. Notice is hereby given in terms of Rule 276(1 )(b) of the Rules of the National Assembly that the Minister of Communication and Digital Technologies intends to introduce the South African Postbank Amendment Bill, in the National Assembly shortly.   2. The explanatory summary of the Bill is hereby published in accordance with Rule 276(1 )(c) of the Rules of the National Assembly.   3. The Bill aims to amend the shareholding arrangements for the Postbank by transferring shareholding from the South African Post Office to the Government through the creation of a new bank controlling company; to facilitate its establishment and registration as the South African Postbank Bank Controlling Company in terms of the Banks Act, and to provide for matters connected therewith.
