- To provide for the establishment of the Municipal Planning Approval Authority and the Municipal Planning Appeal Authority; to provide for the adoption, repeal, review, extension and amendment of the Municipality’s land use scheme, to regulate and manage spatial and land use planning and development, to provide for the categorisation of land development applications, to provide for processes and procedures for land development applications, to provide for appeals against decisions of the Municipal Planning Approval Authority; to provide for offences, penalties and enforcement matters; and matters incidental thereto.
